second attempt.

So I tried this whole blog thing a couple of months ago and well.... this is my second post.

Since then a couple of exciting things have happened.

We graduated!
We spent a month traveling around the country visiting family and friends.
We moved to Aiken, South Carolina.
Jordan started working for Shaw.
I got accepted to USC.
Madilyn has been on 11 plane rides now.
We put an offer on a house and now we are waiting to close.
Madilyn can now crawl and say mama, and sometimes dada, but only when she is really excited about seeing her daddy or I talk about him coming home from work.

Things we are looking forward to this summer.
Playing with goofy Madilyn.
Beach trips!
Moving into our house.
Start renovating and decorating our house.
Planting my first garden. ( our house has a huge fenced off area for one already!)
Buying chickens!
Visiting my old roommate and great friend who lives in Atlanta with her family.
Molly comes home from her mission and Madilyn and I are flying back to Utah to see her!

Picture OVERLOAD!
Niether Madilyn or daddy too excited about swinging.

SOO happy after her first time swimming.
Learning the fine art of laying out.
Love the gas prices here in SC

Waiting for her bath to fill up.
She LOVES bath time.  We give her toys before hand and she starts freaking out in excitement.

South Carolina is HOT and Humid.

Madiyn after her first girls night with the Castle family.

She loves drinking out of her own camelback.
Her 11th plane ride! Ready for the big move to SC

Oh my goodness does this little girl love eating fresh peaches, check out her messy shirt.
Our last freezing cold walk in Idaho!
She would always stick her tongue out in the cold wind.
So hard yet so fun having madilyn with us for our last semester.
 GRADUATION!

 So proud of him!
 Jordan and Durk!
Getting fitted for her blessing dress.

Jordan blessed Madilyn in church on Easter Sunday.
 Girl cousins! (minus gretchen)

Finally meeting emily!

Needless to say life with Madilyn is fun! And we are loving the stage of life we are in.

Not all posts with have this many pictures.
And future ones will have more than pictures of just Madilyn and Jordan.

  1. So I've been reading your blog. And a I second the excitement about visiting your friend in Atlanta. We need to talk on the phone and make it happen.
